I am happy to be writing this reference for Andrew Bourke. Andrew was an Artist in residence at our school in 2005 helping our students complete a large mural.
Andrew specializes in Legal Graffiti Murals – His techniques and skill levels are of the highest quality in Melbourne. The reason we chose Andrew was because he teaches for the love of his art and sees graffiti as art. He teaches with out the ego, which unfortunately is a big part of the graffiti scene. 

He was able to engage and build strong bonds with our students (some who are labelled as high risk in regards to the education system). 

I would recommend Andrew for any project at  any school – he is professional, fair, his skills unquestionable. Most of all I found the passion he has for his art transmitted onto our student not through ego but for the simple pleasure of creating and doing Art.
Now we have an amazing mural.

Andrew Bourke recently facilitated some Aerosol Arts workshops for my organisation. Andrew possesses a great skill in aerosol art; some of his work is amazing and I was more than happy for him to pass on some of this skill and knowledge to young people that I work with. Some of the guys involved in the program are hard to engage with, however Andrew made some great connections and gained respect from them.

I will consider Andrew for further projects, as he is professional and has knack of working with the younger generation.
